Crazy Dreams

Okay, so I have been working on National Board this school year. It has been stressful and the hardest academic thing I have ever done. Tomorrow I am meeting with other ladies at work who are doing it and our mentors (mine is fabulous- love you Alyssa!) and we are packing our box of materials off the send. We are making sure we have everything in order before we send it and then we are celebrating! However, I have been having crazy dreams about National Board and all sorts of things these past couple nights. This morning I woke up around 3am because in my dream I was 2 weeks late turning in my portfolio. I had to calm myself down and remind myself it wasn't due yet. Then I had a dream my students were going to perform the Water Cycle song I taught them and when it was time no one remembered the words. I am not sure why this was in my dream! I will be so excited to send this box off! I know there are many ! marks in this writing but that is how I am feeling at this moment!

Snow Day

This morning there was a Cardinal in my schoolhouse bird feeder and I tried to take a picture because it was so pretty with the snow all around it but it flew away. I did however get one of a female cardinal in our tree.
I can't believe it but I got my wish of a snow day today! Last night I was wishfully thinking but didn't want to get my hopes up because it didn't seem likely. David woke me up at 3am saying we almost had 4 inches of snow and he didn't think I would have school. Then by 4am it was posted on the website! This is great because I have so much National Board work to do today. I hate knowing I am going to spend my day off working but I got to get this portfolio done- it is crunch time! I am sure David and I will take Callie to the dog park today because she LOVES playing in the snow.
