Spending Time with Family

The past two weekends have been spent with family; it is always nice getting together with everyone. Last weekend was my dad's 60th birthday celebration. David and I went up early to watch UK beat Florida and then extended family came over to celebrate. My mom cooked a fantastic meal- mmmm good! My dad had a really nice time!

This past weekend, David's dad and step-mom visited. They live in North Dakota so we don't get to see them that often. They love getting to spend time with Bailey- the pictures of Jeff and Bailey are adorable!

Weekend with Family

This past weekend was spent with family and celebrating Christmas. My father-in-law came in town for the weekend and stayed with us. On Saturday we went to Bailey's dance recital, which was adorable. It is so cute watching little kids dance or try to dance. Bailey did so good; she knew the routine and did it all! That night everyone came over to our house for dinner (Jeff picked up some delicious steaks- yum) and then we played Apples to Apples. I always think I am going to do so good at that game but never do. It was a fun night filled with lots of laughs!

Look how cute she is!

Jeff left on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon my Grandma and family came over to celebrate Christmas with my Grandma. We had a delicious lunch (2 great meals in a row) and then opened some presents. My Grandma gave us our Hallmark ornaments- every year she has given every grandchild a Hallmark ornament. I have so many wonderful ornaments from her! My mom didn't give me mine until I got married, so I was allowed to put mine on our tree but the boys' ornaments had to go back with mom. It was a nice afternoon with family!
