Well Spring Break has been over for 2 weeks and one would have thought I would have updated my blog over Spring Break or since then, but I have been slacking. So here is a recap of the exciting- well exciting to me- events that occurred over Spring Break and since then. Spring Break started with Easter festivities. Ever since we were kids, my mom would make a scavenger hunt for us that would lead to our Easter baskets. She used to give us clues around the house and outside and the last clue would lead to a well hidden Easter Basket. She has kept up with this tradition and now we roam all over the farm finding our clues. Last year our clues ended with us receiving UK National Champion Shirts (repeat next year?!?!). This year my mom decided that making 6 different sets of clues would be a challenge (the siblings plus husbands and girlfriends) so she went with a girls verse boys scavenger hunt. The rules of the scavenger hunt were this- 1. You had to take pictures when you found each clue and the group with the best pictures would win some money. 2. You couldn't move clues (this has been a problem in the past, ex. my brother re hiding my egg under a rock). This year we had to take the RTV up on top of the hill to find some clues. There were 25 clues in all! Here are some pictures of the scavenger hunt: (the boys took some too but they are on David's phone which is not with me at the moment).

Callie took off with an Easter Egg which contained a clue.
The scavenger hunt is a fun family tradition!
Other fun events in the past couple of weeks:
- A trip to IKEA
- Finished watching all the seasons of the Walking Dead- it used to give me nightmares, seriously I was dreaming about Zombies, but David likes it so I watch it with him so we can talk about it.
- Read 2 books- if you need an easy read, I recommend the Hannah Swenson series by Joanne Fluke. They are easy to read mysteries
- Read The Night Circus- I highly recommend this book!!!
- Went to the Blue and White Game
